EAT’N PARK RESTAURANTS INVITES RESIDENTS TO COMPETE FOR ‘BEST NEIGHBORHOOD’ TITLE 6/9/2005
Get ready for some serious summer smiles. Eat'n Park Restaurants could be crashing your neighborhood with a block party for you and 100 of your closest friends. Eat'n Park Restaurants today announces the launch of its "Best Neighborhood" Contest. Beginning today, area residents are invited to visit www.eatnpark.com and tell Eat'n Park - in 250 words or less - why their neighborhood is the best. The winning neighborhood, voted on by guests, will receive an all-expense paid block party for their neighborhood (up to 100 people). The contest, which ends Thursday, June 30, is open to all markets served by Eat'n Park across Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. One winning neighborhood will be selected from across the chain's coverage area. The winner's neighborhood block party will come complete with a visit from Smiley®-the company's mascot, Smiley's Cookie Cruiser and a picnic lunch provided by Eat'n Park including Superburgers, Chicken Sandwiches, Strawberry Pie, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Pepsi® beverages and of course - the world famous Smiley Cookies. "We can't think of a better way to kick the summer off than with a neighborhood party like this," said Kevin O'Connell, senior vice president, Marketing, Eat'n Park. "Our guests are always hungry for new ways to combine good times and great food with a fun, family atmosphere, and Eat'n Park's just the restaurant to bring it home." According to O'Connell, Eat'n Park's commitment to neighborhood dining is an important part of its mission. "Our neighbors are the key to our success as a family dining chain, and this is our way of thanking them for their support," said O'Connell.
