It's official. The black and gold-themed Smiley Cookies are available at Eat'n Park restaurants throughout western Pennsylvania, and via www.smileycookie.com during the Steelers' 2008 season.
To get fans in on the action, Eat'n Park will launch Steelers Make Me Smile, October 19 - an online sweepstakes where two guests will be chosen each day during the six-week promotion to win autographed Steelers' jerseys, game helmets, footballs, or an Eat'n Park or Sideline store gift card. Eat'n Park guests will receive a game card with each visit through November 29. For more information, guests can visit any Eat'n Park or www.eatnpark.com.
Beginning Black Friday, Eat'n Park also will offer special edition, collectible Steelers-branded Eat'n Park gift cards for the 2008 holiday season. Pittsburgh-related merchandise, including black and gold t-shirts, mugs and gift baskets are also available via the company's Web site, www.eatnpark.com, and select Eat'n Park locations.
According to Kevin O'Connell, senior vice president, Eat'n Park Restaurants, Smiley Cookies can be shipped anywhere in the USA to the Steelers' Nation via www.smileycookie.com or www.eatnpark.com. The cookies also will be promoted on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Web site, www.steelers.com, which receives more than 4 million hits each month, many from displaced Steelers fans across the country.
